New cooperation for VTI of Volos Municipality, with Omnia school from Finland for an Erasmus+ project about Tourism
The long-term cooperation on European Programs, Leonardo Da Vinci and Erasmus + with the Finnish Vocational and Training School OMNIA will continue with a new project.
These days in Volos and IIEK there are 2 teachers - Coordinators from Finland, to discuss with managers and trainers the prospect of collaborating on a new program, with partners from different European countries, on Tourism. During their visit, they presented Omnia and their educational projects, visited IEK`s premises and facilities and talked with students in order to make the correct application of the new program as Lead Partners.
OMNIA, which has over 10,000 students and 770 staff, has demonstrated a huge number of successful European programs, and is a great honor for VTI of Volos, the fact that they have chosen it as a partner.
It is true that in recent years an interesting European program for these specialties - that has a large percentage of DIEK students - is being searched, believing that this cooperation will provide students and staff with valuable knowledge and experience, given by the other partners involved (schools and businesses in the field of Tourism).
The President of KEKPA - DIEK, Mrs. A. Morfogianni and the DIEK Legal Representative, Mr. A. Zarkadas - Vergis, encourage and support similar actions emphasizing on the educational value they give to students studying at IIEK.
