New ERASMUS+ Project for VTI of VOLOS MUNICIPALITY, KEKPA-DIEK ..........While registrations are continuing...
The State Scholarship Foundation / National Coordinating Unit for the Erasmus+ program re-approved funding of an Accredited Learning Mobility Plan for Basic Action 1 (KA1) individuals for VTI of Volos Municipality in the field of Vocational Education and Training, entitled ‘’New Technologies in VET’’.
The President of KEKPA - DIEK, Mrs. Sofia Halari, emphasized that the re-approval comes as a recognition and reward for the excellent work done in recent years in the field of European Programs both at the Educational and Administrative level and through the Quality Management System that implemented by KEKPA-DIEK in accordance with the ELOT 1429:2008 standard (Administrative adequacy for the implementation of projects, supplies and projects implemented with the same means).
The Erasmus+ Program 2021-2027 aspires to offer participation opportunities to all, with an emphasis on people with fewer opportunities and smaller organizations. Central axes of the project are social inclusion, digital transformation strengthening of digital skills, participation of young people in the democratic life of Europe, environmental protection and fight against the consequences of climate change. The strengthening of European dimension of teaching and learning, knowledge about the common European heritage and richness of diversity, as well as support of the development of professional networks in Europe are also main targets.
The beginning was made by the implementation of mobility at Czech Republic in April 2022, where the group of participants attended courses at Vosonspso ( Higher School of Fashion of the Czech Republic), and contacted Panska School of Photography. It will continue with the implementation of projects until 2027. Thus, 12 students and 3 instructors, of all specialties every year -Total 72 students and 18 instructors- will participate in mobilities abroad!!!
The president of KEKPA-DIEK Ms. Sofia Halari and the Municipal authority support one of the main goals of I.I.E.K. Volos Municipality, KEKPA - DIEK is the most complete education and training of its students, a fact that is enriched by their participation in European Programs, the benefits of which do not fullfiled by their graduation but also continue in their transition to labor market.
From September the 1st and in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education, the registrations for the educational year 2022-2023 have began, in all ( 21 ) specialties of I.I.E.K. Volos Municipality ( the only VTI that is belonged to a Municipality in Hellas) which enables work with a protection shield since its character is non profit.
