A jewel technician, mastering traditional and new techniques, as well as the contemporary morphological concepts and technological practices, creates original jewelry and participates in their production. Specializers create jewels in production workshops; they design and produce original pieces.
A Jewelry Technician specializes in performing independently and responsibly the jewel design and manufacturing; he/she does this either for his own creation (handmade jewelry) or for multiple output (productive - cast jewels).
Theoretical technical and artistic knowledge, along with the practice of techniques, enable the technician - by transforming raw materials (gold, silver or other metals and materials) - to work out and create new forms of jewelry.
